Everyone knows that Hunter Biden left his infamous laptop at a computer repair shop in Delaware. The store owner even contacted Hunter to get him to pick it up, but he never returned for it, effectively forfeiting the device per the store’s policy — which Hunter Biden agreed to. But on Sunday, the New York Times bizarrely claimed the laptop had been “stolen” in a report about the release of the “Twitter files” by Elon Musk.
“Mr. Musk and Mr. Taibbi framed the exchanges as evidence of rank censorship and pernicious influence by liberals,” Michael M. Grynbaum, a media correspondent for the New York Times, wrote. “Many others — even some ardent Twitter critics — were less impressed, saying the exchanges merely showed a group of executives earnestly debating how to deal with an unconfirmed news report that was based on information from a stolen laptop.”

Everybody already knows.
Sounds like the Slimes is aiding and abetting the Biden Crime Family.
So the New York Times lies.
So what?
It’s not like they’re a newspaper or something.
The Old Gray Lady is one of the primary disinformation sites in the USA.
Were the Pentagon Papers stolen?
Can't count on any support from the current GOP leadership in either congressional chamber as they're busy developing ways to play nice with the Democrat/Communist Party ... so they'll be admired by the Democrat/Communist press doncha know?!
Lets say someone sneaked into his room at night, wearing a burglar mask and stole it. And now we know Biden is a crime lord collecting half his son’s earnings from an international bribery business, he’s a child molester, his son is a crack addict who raped underage girls, screwed his 14 year old niece.
Would the main problem be that the laptop was stolen by the cat burglar?
They didn’t seem to have a problem with publishing Trump’s stolen tax returns.
Don’t know why they’re worried about the laptop, the Big Guy has veto pen ready to sign the Little Guy’s pardon . . .
The problem is people actually believe this sort of thing without knowing any background to the story.
It really is amazing, you’ll hear people say “well on CNN they never said anything” or “well the New York Times said so”.
I guess this is what is meant by the “low information voter”.
Lying Liars lying more lies.
New York Liars should be their name.
They don’t even care when they are caught in a lie.
Either the New York Times is lazy or they’re lying about the Hunter Biden laptop being “stolen.” Do some investigative reporting. The New York Times should have at least searched if Hunter Biden filed a police report that his laptop was stolen. The news media at least sought records for Herschel Walker’s girlfriends abortion bills and whether the banks have recorded the girlfriends depositing Herschel Walker’s checks.
The owner of the computer store should sue the NYSLimes for slander
Why?
Mz. Malarkey would’ve fixed this in a jiffy.
NYT should change their masthead slogan from “All the news that fits” to “Never Tell the Truth if a Lie Will Serve.”
JONATHAN TURLEY EXCERPT——Weeks before the 2020 presidential election, the New York Post ran an explosive story about a laptop abandoned by Hunter Biden that contained emails and records detailing a multi-million dollar influence peddling operation by the Biden family.
Not only was Joe Biden’s son Hunter and brother James involved in deals with an array of dubious foreign figures, but Joe Biden was referenced as the possible recipient of funds from these deals.
The Bidens had long been accused of influence peddling, nepotism, and other forms of corruption. Moreover, the campaign was not denying that the laptop was Hunter Biden’s and key emails could be confirmed from the other parties involved.
However, at the request of the “Biden team” and Democratic operatives, Twitter moved to block the story.
It even suspended those who tried to share the allegations with others, including the White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, who was suspended by Twitter for linking to the scandal.
Even inside Twitter, the move raised serious concerns over the company serving as a censor for the Biden campaign.
