Not a problem, they’ll just turn on their heaters.

...oh yea, never mind.

So, ten degrees F. A bit chilly but folks have survived worse. The headline sounded like they were headed for absolute zero.

Hell would have frozen over. And the Lions would have won teh Superbowl.

Thankfully the windmills and solar panels are up to the task. Just like in Texas last winter...... Oh! ❄🌬

They had best pray for the “windchill” temperature to be well below that. They need to get those windmills to be more productive.

The sunspot minima may be starting to affect the weather. Cold weather is predicted for the next 30 years by Professor Zharkova of Northumberland U.

they are hyperventilating over 10 degrees? That’s a balmy day for us in the winter months! Try 32 below zero f with 45 mph winds and working outdoors all day! (Course we don’t get those days/weeks as much anymore, but we used to get them regularly) And there are places even worse than that- I remember fishing on a day that was -40 f (no wind) and beign as snug as a bug in a rug with my Eddie Bauer Down Filled Jacket on- sitting on a 5 gallon pail fishing for perch- for hours- (Course we got to warm up cutting more holes with auger as we moved from spot to spot)

It’s not the cold, it’s the humidity.
