Kanye Ye West has been suspended from Twitter, the suspension coming after the rapper had tweeted a now deleted post featuring a swastika on Thursday evening.
After a chaotic day that saw Ye appear on Alex Jones’ Infowars show and repeatedly say he liked Adolf Hitler, the rapper posted a series of controversial tweets, including supposed text messages between himself and Twitter CEO Elon Musk. Among the tweets, which included praise and support for Balenciaga following the recent backlash against the company, Ye posted a picture of a swastika merged with a Star of David....

Kanye several years ago declared himself a Christian rapper and even released an album of such music. Amazon included it in their Prime music streaming.

I married a bipolar (Manic Depressive), it didn’t work out. I know the signs, I don’t mess around with crazy... they’re unnerving, destructive, self centered, and retain an attitude of being not responsible, unless called out.
The problem with Manic depressives is that a lot of psychologists are manic depressive themselves. I don’t particularly care for, or trust psychologists either.
An owner of a private business is not required to give neo-Nazis of any kind a broadcasting platform for deluding and gathering more adherents. Musk made a wise business decision this time.

Maybe Kayne is smarter than the average populace. The Swastika was around for thousands of years before Hiler and was a symbol of many positive things including peace and prosperity. It is found in many historical religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism. and even orthodox Christianity.
Musk isn’t going to let West play him.

That is really really reaching, grasping at straws, etc. No one sees the swastika as a symbol of anything good in this century, nor did they during most of the last (unless they were themselves Nazis). It’s universally seen as a Nazi symbol. And Kanye obviously meant it that way. Kanye had just been praising Hitler on Alex Jones’ show.
The tweet that got Kanye (rightfully) banned from Twitter in October: “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.”
Musk said he was taking down the swastika tweet and banning Kanye because of incitement it violence:

After a Twitter user tweeted at Musk to “fix Kanye please,” the CEO replied, “I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended.”
In a further reply, Musk tweeted, “Just clarifying that his account is being suspended for incitement to violence, not an unflattering pic of me being hosed by Ari. Frankly, I found those pics to be helpful motivation to lose weight!”

I can see Musk’s point. There has been an uptick in violence against Jewish people committed by blacks. Kanye had 3.2 million followers on Twitter, and he had some fanatical fans. Among those fans there are sure to be some who are mentally unbalanced.
Remember the guy who committed the mosque massacre in New Zealand and nearly brought down 4chan? Remember the Buffalo shooter who was inspired by anti-black ravings on 4chan and 8kun?
Jeremiah Wright can get away with anti-Semitic ravings within the walls of his own church. Musk has a business to run, and it’s his prerogative to decide free speech ends where he decides incitement to violence begins. Can you imagine the lawsuits if some nut shot up or bombed a synagogue or Jewish school and they found evidence on his phone and/or computer he was inspired by Kanye?
Musk needs a clear, unsubjective statement of what images he considers offensive. Otherwise there be a downward slippery slope of politically biased bans.
Just pointing out the historic reality. All I can say about sensitive feelings hurt is this...
