I tell young men all the time that the ratio of single women to men in church, particularly among the ones serious for Christ, is very much in the men's favor.
Basically, a single man who's into Jesus for real has his pick of chicks.

Yep.
That’s really true even with the general population. It really is a man’s world in that sense. The problem is that doesn’t take into account the ratio of DESIRABLE women. And US culture kinda ruins a lot of them. Then again, it messes up males as well.

Generally that’s correct.
However my worst two disasters were right out of church.
The one I described earlier was a regular choir member, was at church every Sunday twice. But she had a horrible home life and that was her major influence.
The first one......well, we’ll be here for two hours.....so.......

The pitfall in that scenario is the number of "reformed" women who had their party years, then found Jesus miraculously when the invitations diminished.
