I am a master Apple Pie baker. Completely from scratch:

I prefer to use Mitsu apples, and include either dried cherries or cranberries...:)

The absolute BEST blueberry pie I have ever had was at this place up in Northern Maine (an area known for its blueberries):

Now, I know what you are thinking, because that is exactly what I thought: "It is a "Tourist Trap". And it is...:)

My wife and I were up there when everything was closed down because of COVID, but they did keep the concession open, which served blueberry pie. It came with a dollop of good vanilla ice cream on top (the kind that has the small, dark specks of crushed vanilla bean in it)

I regard myself as a pie connoisseur, so I didn't have high expectations, but...it was absolutely superb.

Pi day is March 14th, 3.14 in other words.

I know, I know, it’s a homonym, but so what?

Chocolate Mousse Pie, Pecan Pie.

Does cheesecake count as pie, or cake?
