Could not care any less if you measured it.
You have company. https://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/4111742/posts?page=13#13
You are not alone.
Seems to me, the Europeans take Soccer far more seriously than the typical American takes football or basketball.
It is a religion to most of them. The majority still rise and perish vicariously with their teams. Maybe because they still think like citizens of small town vs a huge and sprawling continent like the USA. I’m not a Sport’s viewer, for the most part and never have been. To each his own diversion.
Yep. But then again, every sport is over rated and boring when compared to the greatest sport of all - women’s roller derby.
like watching paint dry
Can’t understand the interest in soccer It bores the crap out of me.
Fox News is beating the world cup like a mule 7x24. Good thing there’s no news to report on.
I think soccer would be more interesting if the participants were required to have their arms surgically amputated before they are eligible to participate.
Never watched a soccer game and don’t plan on changing that record.
Kickball is for kids.
No
Actual headline: “The World Cup’s New High-Tech Ball Will Change Soccer Forever”
No, you're not. I couldn't give two hoots about soccer. I'm a college football fan.
Go, Trojans! Beat the Utes!
“I’m I the only American That doesn’t care”
I don’t know. I’m you?
No.
My son in law played soccer all thru HS and college and loves it. Playing it is certainly much different then just watching it and gives you a different outlook.
Care about what?
I don’t care beans about soccer. I do, however, have a former co worker, in the Middle East, on military duty, who saw two games in person, USA vs Wales and USA vs Iran, so he saw the US team beat Iran. He is not a soccer fan either, but he said it nice to be able to see a world event in person, though he said he wouldn’t watch it on TV. What I thought was ironic, however, is that he sent me a short video (USA vs Wales) and it looked like the stadium was almost empty.
I’ve recently started following the twenty-20 format of cricket and, really, it is fascinating and far from boring.
It seems that cricket has a lot of formats
the one we knew were the 5 day long matches - kind of boring
then a one day match - faster, but still with dull moments
This one is done in about 2 to 3 hours and it pretty much non-stop excitement.
Soccer is kinda boring, yeah
