We review our Onto-provided Fiat 500 EV. We can't home charge, so are reliant on public chargers. Will an EV work for us? Visit https://neon.ly/hubnut for more information about Onto, and you could be driving an electric Fiat for £489 fully inclusive of servicing, insurance and charging! This is not a sponsored vehicle, but they did provide the vehicle free for us to test, and paid for a previous video on this car.
This is the only review I have seen that gives real world number for for the actual range and how much range you lose per hour of using heating (AC?). He also talks about the issues charging the car if you live in an area without a nearby charging station or don't have one at home
Kind of an interesting review.
I realize this is sort of an inflammatory topic.
For those who don't know who this guy is, he normally drives old cars like Yugo's and 2CV's that most people don't want.
I guess the golf course was closed.
Start getting used to it.
I had kind of the same thought. It is a really small vehicle.
The absolute pinnacle of Italian engineering.
Ferrari?
Interesting review, not that I would ever buy such a car.
If you can’t home charge the answer is no.
Especially when you live in a place where the weather gets cold.
Fix It Again Tony.
That is how I feel. But the car was provided to his family for 2 weeks for the review.
I want to see the episode where they take the three daughters to school!
Campagnolo
Buy a Fiat and adopt a mechanic.
This isn’t a car w/ a battery, it’s a battery with a car...
My 500 has a turbo and a 5 speed.
If you just need a city, grocery shopper car they are perfect. Not the EV , the Fiat. They are at least twice as big on the inside as the outside. Very comfortable and the smallest thing on the road!
Ha! That seems to be the reviewer's impression as well. I wonder how reliable they are.
