The two unique wobbles in the Earths axis also play a role in surface temperature.

One set of wobbles when Earth is farthest from the sun can cause significant cooling, and a different set of wobbles when Earth is closest to the sun can cause significant warming.

The wobbles, and Earths elliptical path around the sun, mean that the angle of sunlight striking the Earth, and the surface area being illuminated, are constantly changing.

Snow is a good way to alleviate drought. Id rather have cold with snow than dry cold. Snow makes for a nice insulator on the roof and piled up around the foundation. House stays much warmer.

Long term, it waters the ground for deep watering. It refreshes bodies of water...

It’s a pita to deal with but more beneficial than most people realize.
