Push back hard against plans to impose Central Bank Digital Currency
American Thinker ^ | 27 Nov, 2022 | Andrea Widburg

Once the government can control all money in America with the push of a button, anything approaching liberty is dead on arrival.

When I first saw the acronym “CBDC,” I may have betrayed my California roots when I thought it was some new cannabis product that will join all the other CBD products sold everywhere, including at truck stops. I’m not so naïve now, and I know that CBDC, which stands for Central Bank Digital Currency, is possibly the most dangerous idea ever bandied about in American politics.

The plan is that the federal government would end paper and coin money in favor of purely digital money—all under the government’s control. Suddenly, in addition to your bank’s ATM, you would be dependent on the federal government’s ATM

SNIP

Tucker Carlson discussed it on his Friday night show, during which he said, correctly, that it would be the end of America because it would make us all slaves to the government. Do what the government says, and you can buy food and pay rent. Offend the government, and you will be cut off. Suddenly, every American would be a potential January 6 prisoner.

Sadly, Fox News doesn’t seem to have posted a video of that segment, nor can I find any other videos. However, the gist of it was that our government is claiming that we need CBDC because it’s what China is doing (remember: social credit system) and it’s the only way to keep up with China. Tucker’s guest, whose name I cannot remember for the life of me, said that the flip side of this approach is arguably better: As “money” becomes a button in a government office, people are going to flock to a country that still has actual currency outside of the government’s control.

I’m fairly confident that if we’re just now talking about it, it’s already too far gone to stop it.

My only prayer is that the end come quickly. Unfortunately, suffering is the majority of human history.

I have not taken cash out of an ATM in about a year, no need.

Big Tech thanks you for the profile of your behavior that you've created.

If they outlaw cash, which they’re moving for, you have to use specie and barter.

Just pushing back isn’t enough. We can’t stop these people with any conventional methods.

They have this ready to go. First you will need a cellphone, then they will impose a chip. Take it or die of starvation etc.

"Hoard things of intrinsic value."

That's good advice.. I bought a small tractor, loader, backhoe and tiller.. In hard times maybe folks will need a garden tilled.. That's where I come in.. :)

Starts with.....Elon Musk / Twitter purchase

Leads to..... “X - The Everything App”

Accessing/Using “X - The Everything App” will require:

Participating in.....Blockchain

Leading to..... Digital Currency

Leading to..... Digital ID

Ends with.....universal human enslavement

Musk, regardless of his rhetoric on any given day, believes in transhumanism, Universal Basic Income, and global government. He is the pivotal figure for instituting world government.

Central Bank Digital Currency is the gateway to global currency.

If such a time came that I was denied access to MY money for a political reason I would be very upset. I would express my displeasure with local democrats until such a time as I was unable to continue.

USA banks are already required to scan the serial number on every bill that is deposited each day.

Usually, they just scan entire cash drawers at the end of the day. But, if they have concerns about an individual deposit, they will scan it in real time. If they have a large withdrawal, they usually pay it out with banded pre-scanned bills.

I assume all those serial numbers and bank locations go into a central US Treasury data base each day, although I do not know that for a fact.

It is not a big job - it takes longer to stack and unstack the bills than it does to scan them.

Moving from paper serial numbers to electronic serial numbers does not seem like an especially big change to me.

Unless someone lives completely off the grid, the US Treasury already has a pretty good idea where your money comes from, and where you spend it.

We have paid off all our debt except our mortgage and taken most of our cash and put it in hard assets. The house gets sold soon and that cash is going into a new house on our rural property and other hard assets. We are leaving very little in the bank for the govt to control.
