When Russia started to restrict its supplies of gas to western Europe, one of the most affected countries was Germany. The country is heavily dependent on the fuel - and initially struggled to find a replacement. Germany has not only managed to replenish its stored gas, but has also built its first terminal for imported liquefied natural gas - in just 200 days.

Russia is knocking out power distribution substations. You can have all the high voltage power, but without substations to step down the voltage, it’s useless.
Today was a milestone, all four Ukie nuke plants idled ( shutdown). Seems all the power has no place to go ( 770, 330) sub stations largely destroyed. Vlad is closely monitoring how they are repaired, ( if at all) waits a day or so, then whacks them again.
So, just how long can the Ukies survive “ nationwide de-energization”? A week or so should put them into Stone Age light…Vlad still holds all the cards.

Any attempts to repair the network are useless as long as Russia continues to attack it.

The Russians should do exactly what the US and NATO would have done and completely and utter take out Ukraine’s entire energy and gas grid north of the Vinnytsya-Cherkasy-Poltava line.
Also, take out every last diesel train Ukraine has.
Also, take out every rail line, bridge, main road coming into Ukraine from Poland, etc., etc., etc.
