“The U.S. should be mindful that no matter how desperately it may seek to disarm (North Korea), it can never deprive (North Korea) of its right to self-defense and that the more hell-bent it gets on the anti-(North Korea) acts, it will face a more fatal security crisis,” she said in a statement carried by state media.

she needs a sammich and some Sun.
I don’t know if their arrogance is bluster, bluff or just plain ignorance.
But either way, if they launched a missile at the US, nuclear or not, they would cease to exist in a very, very short while....................
I volunteer to take her on a cruise to Mazatlan. We’ll have to share a cabin but that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.
Whatever, Karen.
There has been previous reports that she is a real bitch. Pray she never takes over from fat boy.
ahahaha
My first thought was which Kardashian sister is it.
Ever hear of Thoroughly Modern Milley? (I didn’t think so.) The Norks know him pretty well.
I think she has already grabbed some power, to a
a certain extent. Just making this public statement
shows she's got some pull and influence and control
in that country.
Smiley Miley isn’t even in the Chain of Command.............
Or it could be a safe way for the regime to signal its determination without involving Kim himself.
I’m not much for foreign intervention these days, but I wouldn’t complain if these clowns got whacked.
You actually think we’d launch back?
I actually am of the opinion (just my own) that we are a completely corrupted “Paper Tiger”. That an attack like that would not responded to in the manner we assume from a time when we had an actual American government that protected its citizens…instead of hating them with a white-hot passion.
I am absolutely certain that we wouldn’t nuke North Korea under any circumstance. South Korea, Japan, China and Russia would get hit by fallout and South Korea might even get blast effects depending on where we hit. That’s not happening.
But even beyond that, I don’t think we have a government that would act that aggressively against a foreign enemy…against its own people, yes, but they could never get their act together to attack outside of that.
Depends on who is President...................
That is true…I was thinking of the current one when I gave that opinion.
A different president, of a different political movement, would be a different thing entirely.
The only “fatal security crisis” North Korea can inflict would be one fatal to themselves.
I keep waiting for the Western mass media to congratulate her for breaking the glass ceiling....
;-)
Time to reread Sun Tzu.
Their weakness is their strength.
That is why they have survived this long.
Interesting take - you may be right. We wouldn’t want to hurt anyone or anything...
