It is extremely sad the father lost his kid, but a home invasion is potentially life and death for the homeowner who has no idea of the intentions of those breaking in.
But the homeowner will be scared from this for life too, even if no one had died. You never feel safe again in most cases.

This is insanity. Three young thugs attempt to victimize an old man. How was 3-on-1 "fair?" What was he supposed to do, let them beat him and rob him?

Homeowners should warn criminals what weapons they have criminals. Criminals deserve an unfair fight in their favor.
