Well - went to avoiding the chopped brisket for the sliced instead - was getting all sorts of fat chunks in it. At least with the sliced there's opportunity to trim it up a bit easily. Maybe something to do with staff at the Temple location being sloppy, I don't know.

Right now they're on the way to building THE largest one at 75,000 square feet down in Luling, site of the very first travel center store. Ought to be open next year.

Buc-ee’s cheap gas, best bathrooms in the nation, restaurant without seats and a tourist trap so good that it catches natives.

I only go there when my wife needs a clean potty. Occasionally, I’ll get some jerky. Overpriced.

Fascinating!
Sounds like a Truck Stop.
A Huge Truck stop!

Most Buccee’s are in Texas, and there are none north of the Ohio River or west of the Rio Grande. You must also go to the Friendly State if you want to eat at Taco Cabaña, Whataburger or Luby’s.
To: Fiji Hill
The first Bucc-ees West of Texas is to be built North of Denver.

We stopped at the Buc ees in Bastrop shortly after it opened. The freshly made potato chips were heavenly! I was the only one in the car that ordered them but everyone else wanted some, they were that good.
