This morning CBS Morning News was on in the house (not my choice) and they were covering the latest spin on Hunter Biden's laptop. CBS overall was unusually critical of the evidence on the laptop.
But what caught my attention was at the end of the story when anchor Gayle King made this comment starting at the 5:48 mark:
"Could be a lesson to pay your bills. Eighty-five dollars could have changed everything had the bill been paid."
Is it just me or did she say that criminals should do a better job of covering up their crimes?

It was a flip remark, and one I’ve thought myself.

Another token early morning gabfest host. White America just can’t make it through the day without ‘em. Hunter should have hired Nanzi to coverup Laptopgate for him. She’s been good at doing coverups lately.

Pretty much......I’ll tell you what else she unwittingly did.....she just admitted she knows hunter biden is in fact guilty of no telling how many crimes.
That must mean those people should have gone to the DNC headquarters at Watergate during regular business hours instead of breaking in.
Yes, the moral of the story is definitely to remember where you left your laptop and pay the bill when you pick it up. That’s it - nothing at all to do with sedition, treason, theft, lying, having sex with a child, grooming your own young niece, prostitution, drug use, and constant and obsessive fondling of your own parts.
My Communist brother-in-law said the same thing. You see, our Elites KNOW what is best for us and things like Hunter’s laptop or Hillary’s server as just distractions from their goals of “doing good.”
So, did she say he should have covered up his crimes better?
Sounds like there is no remorse for the damage he may have done to our country.
Of course the whole laptop mess puts to lie Joe Biden’s reference to Hunter as the smartest guy he knows.

My wife and I thought the same exact thing this morning. Like Hunter should have been more careful, nothing about the substance of the crimes. AND, was it just me or this "report" from CBS seems like it's over two years late??? Like this is the first report on the laptop.
