There's still a lot of conference title races hanging in the balance heading into the final week of the college football season.
The conference title games in seven of the 10 conferences at the top level of college football have yet to be finalized through the first 12 weeks of the season. And in cases like the AAC, Big Ten and MAC, there are head-to-head matchups where the winner will advance to the championship game.

Since LSU beat the Empire, the talk has been if LSU beats UGA at the ATL, then Tennessee should also be given a playoff bid.
After the beatdown Tennessee received yesterday, why would anyone think they are in line to be in the final four?
LSU and UGA both face cupcake teams this week and then the SEC title game. If LSU wins that, would it not stand to reason that they would jump over UGA in any standings?
TCU’s Big 12 Conference opponent is still undetermined, but looking at their standings # 15 Kansas State (6-2) is playing Kansas (3-5). I don’t follow that area of the country closely so I have no idea if Kansas can pick them off. Texas is playing Baylor. If Texas were to win and Kansas State were to lose, they would have the same conference record.
Texas plays Friday at noon EST and KState plays Saturday at 8 pm EST. This would be moot on Friday if Baylor wins. But is Baylor wins, then they would have the same record as Texas. Texas Tech would also tie if the beat West Virginia.
What would decide the TCU opponent?
How/when do we find out which college is going to which bowl game?
They are announced on Sunday, December 4, 2022, although some become obvious before hand. This prediction page get update weekly.

Do not think I have ever heard that one, but probably do not want to. Still, the USC ditties are horrible. The band members must have nightmares after playing them incessantly for four years.
Georgia had problems with Kentucky, but it did show Georgia can get down in the mud and slug it out if needed.

I’m thinking even if LSU beats UGa, U-T probably won’t get in.
Iowa St could upset TCU (low chance) or Ohio St-Michigan could be a blowout (better chance).
I’d have to say USCw has a better chance if they beat ND and Utah.

If you attend an Oklahoma game, you'll soon become very familiar with Boomer Sooner, as it is played constantly, just as you'll become familiar with Buckeye Battle Cry if you attend an Ohio State game.
I happen to like the USC ditties. The Trojan Marching Band plays Fight On! after scores and first downs, the fanfare "Charge!" on third down or on fourth down when the team is "going for it," and "Tribute to Troy" when the team is on defense. If the defense makes a sack, the band plays Weird Al Yankovic's Another One Rides the Bus. Before the game and after victories the band plays Alfred Newman's 1948 hit Conquest.
The University of Texas has a good theme song, The Eyes of Texas, which may soon be "cancelled" for being "racist." I also like Varsity, Fight!, Santa Clara's theme song. Too bad that school dropped football.
My favorite football fight song, though is Tiger Roar! from my alma mater Occidental College. Sadly, they dropped football a few years ago.
My UConn Huskies lost to Army, but if I said UConn would be 6-6 this year, most people would tell me that I was smoking something. I thought they would win 3 or 4 games, but Jim Mora is Coach of the Year.
As someone who owned stock in ESPN when it was being formed, they are corrupted. Big time, they hate UConn and it was formed to promote UConn and Hartford Whalers games.
The lending tree bowl, Connecticut against Georgia Southern? That would be interesting, since GaSo QB transferred from UConn. Not sure if he played this year...
Yale beat Harvard 19-13 in THE GAME yesterday. Yale won the Ivy title..
