Washington’s Seattle Academy High School girls’ cross-country team qualified for the state championship thanks to trans student, Aspen Hoffman.
Last year, Hoffman was a mediocre cross-country runner on Seattle Academy’s boys’ team. During freshman year, Aspen Hoffman competed as a boy and finished 72nd in the League finals. Now, as a sophomore competing as a girl, Hoffman broke Seattle Academy’s school record in the girls’ 5000-meter category and ranks 1st in League. Hoffman’s time in the 5000-meter would rank him 48th if he had competed in the boys’ division. Earlier this semester, Hoffman took 2nd at Districts, qualifying Seattle Academy for the State championship.
Seattle Academy competes in the Emerald Sound Conference which is comprised of 14 schools. Libs of TikTok spoke with a coach in the conference who told us, “allowing [Hoffman] to compete against biological girls deprives other girls' teams of the chance to compete at State (which is a big deal). If [Hoffman] competed in the boys’ division, [Hoffman] would place 56th on the boys’ team.”
It’s not just the coach that was upset over Hoffman’s wins. Libs of TikTok spoke to several parents of young female athletes in the conference who are understandably upset.
“[Hoffman] is larger than any of the girls, and shamelessly takes 1st place on the podium. Now my daughter is competing against a male for scholarships. And we can’t even say anything. You can’t even approach it in a nice way without being labeled a hateful bigot. You will get threats against you,” said one father.

Let them compete in individual competition. They just should not be able to play for teams or be listed as the winner.

THINK about it. If you were a “good” men’s player buy not quiet good enough to make it in the pro’s... all you have to do is “say” you are a woman and PRESTO!!! you can now make big bucks playing ... any high paying womens pro sport! The WNBA would be all men nearly instantly, as well as any other high paying professional womens sport.
They don’t even have to undergo a sex change, they don’t even have to have long hair, or wear dresses or even date men. They can simply declare, I am a woman, and that’s the end of the discussion.
This is the end of womens sports if allowed to continue.

Make all sports coed. The locker rooms too. If he is a biological male who “identifies” as female and is allowed to compete against girls, why not let biological males who “identify” as males compete against them too? The “identity” is not what competes. The body is. A boy took first place from the girls. Might as well be honest about it, as quaint as that might sound.
Sometimes it takes a man to do a woman’s job!
If only girls would do that, this nonsense would end overnight.
Imagine this scenario: Girls line up for a race and some boy with a pink pair of shorts shows up. The girls immediately go back to the locker room and let the boy in pink pants run all by himself.
This will end it. Overnight. I guarantee it.

Why is it that in Sports there are only two Genders while we all know now that there are at least Heinz 57.

Not to throw any cold water on your idea, but these people who are trans are looking for attention. If all the girls left and left them just to run by themselves in their pink pants, they’d like it. It makes people notice them.
The very idea would be utterly lost on them.
If this had been allowed back in my high school days, I could have been girl’s state champion! I placed 115th out of 160 boys at the state cross-country meet. Even with that less-than-stellar finish, my time was still good enough to beat the #1 girl in the state.
