“Independent” is just a play for power in and of itself.
How in the world is that? I’ve never been “pandered to, discussed and courted for ‘favors’.” Nobody even knows or cares, as far as I can tell. I don’t discuss it in real life.
I’ve been ‘independent’ for 50 years. It has nothing to do with ‘power’, but with the simple desire to not be officially affiliated with any party.
