We had a preview of how bad things will get 2 years ago when they shut the nation down practically. Folks wiped out grocery stores in a matter of days with their panic buying. It was unreal. Shelves were empty of things like noodles, rice, canned foods, etc, all stuff that would keep. And of course they wiped out the cleaning isles for things like hand sanitizer, lysol etc.

Folks were battling each other over things like toilet paper, food stuff, etc. And all for nothing.

Companies stil. Haven’t recovered either. Several products I used to get are no longer available apparently because they went under for,lack,of help during that period.

There were videos showing thieves waiting outside supermarkets for women to come out with carts full of food, and the criminals would block the person’s car in and rob them by force.

If things go south after 4 years of tyranny by the biden green regime, its gonna get much worse. Probably already is in some places.

I see the news isn’t reporting on store chains c,osing due to theft- either that has slowed down, or they are suppressing the news because of where the stores are located.

All interesting points on this thread. One thing that hasn’t been mentioned is in all the chaos, there are those who would use the opportunity for “score settling”, and I’m not talkkng about the ‘key the door of the car with a political bumper sticker’ kind. That aspect could get really, really nasty.

Matt's assessment is spot on and completely consistent with his world view for the last 20+ years. We've had a couple "test runs" with EBT system failures in southern states. The EBT patrons ran wild in the food market. It was a flash mob theft of epic proportions. Fortunately, it was confined to a small geographic location. When the USD fails as a currency, this small "test run" will be a national rollout.
