Her aggressiveness is what I/we love, but it may have been too much for some.
At Saturday’s rally, she asked if any McCain peeps were in the audience and told them to “get the hell out”.
imho, this wasn’t the smartest move.

People who don't focus on politics can be fluid in their beliefs. There's no issue with that. Your sister started to look at things through more of a political filter, which opened her eyes.
Kari Lake's background, to me, seems a little politically unstable. She went from being a Republican, to an Independent, to a Democrat, and now back to conservative Republican. That's a lot of shifting in 16 years. She was a Buddhist until 3 years ago. It's a good thing she converted to Christianity, because I don't think a Buddhist would have gotten the Republican nomination for governor.

Lots of Dems switch to Pub, including Ronald Reagan. Would you prefer they stay Dems? There is no comparison between RWR and Kari Lake. Sorry. Even when Reagan was a Democrat, he espoused conservative beliefs. When he said that he didn't leave the Democrat Party - it left him, it's an accurate statement.
Peoples' opinions change. Winston Churchill is credited as saying that, "If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart; if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain."
In 16 years Lake went from Republican to Independent to Democrat, and back to (conservative) Republican. That's a lot of changing. Hopefully she's found the role that fits her.
