Note to the reader: Increasing the dosage of a newer benzonatate Rx could be very dangerous. Don’t do it.
No test here either. Since the US government with its infinite wisdom probably ordered millions oftest kits from China, how do we know they aren’t pre-infected with Covid. That’s what I’d do if my enemy ordered them from me.
Election is over. It’s the Flu.
Condolences on the loss of the parakeets. Our two birds were unaffected. Same for the cats. 8 dogs and only one affected. No impact on the reptiles.
The Chloraseptic helped briefly. Not the usual suppression of pain. I had a really bad case of strep in grad school. My throat looked like a shrimp fork had been pulled across it multiple times. Double pneumonia and high fever. That's sort of my reference for being sick. Nothing else has ever come close.
I use a Charge 4 to track sleeping SP02. Vitamin C and 1,000 mg of Chaga make a measurable difference. I've pushed up to 98% SP02 sleeping. Absent the Chaga/C, I sit between 91% and 93%.
I am usually 96-98% while sleeping.
“A RT-PCR test called the Flu SC2 Multiplex Assay can detect any of three viruses at the same time: the COVID-19 virus, influenza A and influenza B (flu). Only a single sample is needed to check for all three viruses.”

Can the test tell which one of the three it found or is simply a Yes/No and the esteemed medical professional has to guess which one the patient has?
So sorry, these one size fit all tests are BS. Since COVID positive pays $$$, I bet vast majority of positives will be deemed COVID.
which pays more?
“I question if medical history might have turned out happier if vitamin D3 had been discovered before vaccines were.”
Even I do not need to be end sarcasm symbol to know that this is sarcasm. At the beginning of Covid, the feds should’ve been telling people to go outside, exercise, eat healthy and take vitamin D. Instead they said wear a mask, order your food delivered and stay inside.
Thanks for replying Freee-dame.
No sarcasm intended for my previous post.
What I understand is that the first vaccine for a contagious disease, smallpox, was discovered at least 100 years before they figured out vitamin D3.
I also understand that D3 was never patented, patenting medicine regarded as unethical when it was introduced.
What is considered unethical in Medicine has certainly changed over time.
The crooks are following the money, especially where unconstitutional federal spending is concerned imo.
The test identifies which disease is present in the sample.
So the test will be able to not only identify each individual virus it will tell exactly and specifically which one of the three viruses you have?
Test run only under lab conditions? Sounds more like a genetic test that takes a long time to run.
100% accuracy? Sorry not buying this considering past history with PCR tests and manipulated cycle counts.
People will have to decide between your expertise and that of Mayo Clinic I suppose. Truly a toss-up.

RT-PCR test. Also called a molecular test, this COVID-19 test detects genetic material of the virus using a lab technique called reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). A health care professional collects a fluid sample by inserting a long nasal swab (nasopharyngeal swab) into your nostril and taking fluid from the back of your nose. A sample may be collected by using a shorter nasal swab (mid-turbinate swab) or a very short swab (anterior nares swab). In some cases, health care professional inserts a long swab into the back of your throat (oropharyngeal swab). Or you may spit into a tube to produce a saliva sample.
Results may be available in minutes if analyzed onsite in 1 to 3 days — or longer in locations with test processing delays — if sent to an outside lab. RT-PCR tests are very accurate when properly performed by a health care professional, but the rapid test can miss some cases.
Antigen test. This COVID-19 test detects certain proteins in the virus. Using a long nasal swab to get a fluid sample, some antigen tests can produce results in minutes. Others may be sent to a lab for analysis.
A positive antigen test result is considered accurate when instructions are carefully followed. But there’s an increased chance of false-negative results — meaning it’s possible to be infected with the virus but have a negative result. Depending on the situation, the health care provider may recommend a RT-PCR test to confirm a negative antigen test result.
