If you have the sniffles or a scratchy throat, you might be wondering how to tell the difference between these three viruses.
"Sneezing, sore throat, nasal congestion, persistent cough, and headache" are all common symptoms of the current COVID
(CDC) notes, listing fever, chills, cough, runny nose, muscle aches, and fatigue among the most common complaints of flu-sufferers
The common cold, "Symptoms may include cough, low grade fever, sneezing, sore throat, and/or stuffy nose," she says.
"Your healthcare provider may be able to help evaluate your specific symptoms. There are also rapid point of care tests that are available to help determine if you have COVID-19, the flu, or RSV."
Given the overlap between symptoms, those tests may be the only surefire way to determine which illness you're suffering from.

IOW - they don’t know.
“If people would just die, there would be no need to make this determination” - AMA/CDC
But, what about monkeypox?
Both my nephews have RSV(the 2 yr old and now 7 yr old) the yr old got a slight pneumonia, 103 fever and double ear infection, he’s on meds now and is making a speedy recovery..his 7 yr old brother was diagnosed with it last night, went to urgent care, coughing like crazy, horrible dry cough, no fever but his chest and back are broken from coughing so much..rona was NOTHING compared to RSV, they both had rona twice and barely had any symptoms but this, this was 20 times worse
BINGO. Best of all the Covid Test most likely can’t distinguish between the three either. Remember, Flu all but disappeared during Covid. Now suddenly this year it’s back and bringing RSV with it. I say BS!!!!
Doesn’t matter for the average person.
If age less than 65 and no significant comorbidity then not worth taking Tamiflu for the flu or Paxlovid for Covid.
Symptomatic care works just as well for most.
The “health care provider” is as clueless as the gubmint “experts”. We so need a cleaning of house in Washington city.
My general approach, if I feel unwell, is the stay home and eat chicken soup until I either feel better or I feel worse.
If I feel worse — if I feel like breaking is difficult, or if I really feel like I might die — then I go to the doctor or emergency room.
I don’t waste a whole lot of time ever wondering: Do I have this? Do I have that? Maybe it’s this other thing ...
Modern Medicine has become some sort of mania for people. I just don’t care about any of it. One of these days I’ll die. Hasn’t happened yet.
Then there is this

SNL skit: Get a free break by testing positive for covid.
If whatever it is goes away with mucinex and tylenol, no test needed. in the last 2 + years, not ONE test up my nose!
weird because tons of people who wore masks for 2 years got covid anyways-
Masking greatly reduces the risk of getting taunts from NYT staff and readers.
Yes, indeed!
Who put this info out there, the testing companies?
$$$$$$$$
lol-
Just drink NyQuil.
Saw a woman double masked outside at the start of a 5k race, she wasnt participating, probably could not double masked.
