Photo credit: Justin Sullivan, Getty Images. Former President Donald Trump attacked numerous news outlets and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) in a statement he released to his followers Thursday night.
The former president, who is largely being blamed for costing Republicans big in the midterms, again referred to DeSantis as “Ron DeSanctimonious.” He also accused media outlets owned by the Murdoch family of colluding against him.

What “wrong people”? I’ve only seen attacks by the usual people, but now I’m seeing attacks by Freepers. Floridians are looking at Gov. DeSantis’ actions, not at other people’s opinions, good or bad, about him.
I get why he is upset the gop pricks are attacking him so I get why he is lashing out but there is no reason to go after desantis he didn’t do anything wrong he hasn’t said or done anything there is zero reason to attack him
He needs more than the GOP base to win. Don’t get me wrong, if he’s the nominee I will vote for him, but he will lose.

Trump knew this. That's why he was publicly endorsing @ssholes like Mitt Romney in 2018 ... because he knew they were going to win anyway.
I did not say he didn’t say it. You are just over emotional and unable to debate without name calling. I am not a cultist because in my history here I have criticized Trump other times. Especially over the Vaxes.
I am pragmatic in that I am not going to jump on board with the media who very much right now are using Desantis to destroy Trump and MAGA. I am not pleased with the people who are backing Desantis because they are GOPe, people who I do not like, and will seek to control him with money and donations.
Other than that, he seems to be a good Governor People in Florida elected him for 4 more years they thought. So we will see.
I am just not for helping the left and the media destroy Trump or DeSantis at this time because the outcome could ruin them both. Neither person has said they are running yet.
You can continue to be nasty and call me names , but I am done.

I hate those three, and they certainly didn’t help.
But we’re buying into the narrative that the GOP underperformed which could be far from the truth. We don’t know what we don’t know re the well-oiled fraud machine.
I believe they performed very well, but not enough to beat the cheat.

See, the difference between Trump and Desantis is, Trump doesn't need anybody else's money to be in politics.
DeSantis, on the other hand, will ALWAYS answer to somebody else. Trump answers only to the people. He is the People's President. DeSantis can never be another Trump.

These vile smears against President Trump need to stop. The Leftists and RINOS are only attempting to divide us. President Trump's comments were every bit true.
... but I know he's not.
This is very deliberate, and is aimed at accomplishing something that is obviously not clear right now.
Here's my wild "off the wall" prediction of what MIGHT happen in the coming days-weeks-months (maybe as soon as next week) ...
1. If Trump knows he is being undermined by the GOP establishment, he announces that he's running in 2024 as an independent. He may have already made this threat to the GOP leadership.
2. The first high-profile figure to publicly support him is Tulsi Gabbard.
I’m not impressed with Desantis standing silent while all these GOP politicians and pundits attack Trump
And I have been a big fan of Desantis. But his silence while Trump is targeted with a coordinate establishment assault, doesnt look like courage or loyalty to put it mildly
Right on.
We’ve had darn few republicans who fight for America.
