Photo credit: Justin Sullivan, Getty Images. Former President Donald Trump attacked numerous news outlets and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) in a statement he released to his followers Thursday night.

The former president, who is largely being blamed for costing Republicans big in the midterms, again referred to DeSantis as “Ron DeSanctimonious.” He also accused media outlets owned by the Murdoch family of colluding against him.

Trump caught lightning in a bottle in 2015-2016. He fought, scrapped, amd insulted his way into the White House in a way that nobody but him could pull off, and he did it dragging the establishment republicans behind him kicking and screaming. He was the only candidate who could have beat Hillary and he did some great things in office. I voted for him before and if he is the republican nominee in 2024, I'll vote for him again.

Now that I got that out of the way, 2024 is not 2016 and Trump is a platform of pure entitlement. He doesn't want to go through a primary again (where he was previously successful and gained his base), he wants a coronation. He probably doesn't even think he should run in the general because the last election was stolen from him. He is now Hillary and all y'all religiously clapping along like trained seals woth whatever he says no matter how dimwitted have become Hillary supporters.

Yeah, I'll likely vote for him before any of the current crop of establishment republicans or democrats, but Trump isn't owed a thing, he is going to have to earn it just like he did before.

One doesn't have to actively participate to be used. Though one could say that sitting back silent while all hell breaks loose around you is (in)active participation.
