John Della Volpe, a hard-Left pollster and author of a deathless tome entitled FIGHT: How Gen Z is Channeling Their Fear & Passion to Save America, is claiming that his favorite age group saved the midterm elections for those who love skyrocketing inflation, open borders, rising crime, international ridicule and brinksmanship, and accelerating authoritarianism. Della Volpe tweeted, “One thing I know already. If not for voters under 30 … tonight WOULD have been a Red Wave.(snip)
What he is crowing about is the apparent fact that the voting group with the least life experience and the most recent subjection to the Leftist indoctrination that dominates America’s educational system ended up voting as it was brainwashed to do. Gee, that’s terrific, if you like evidence of the success of the relentless propagandizing of a vulnerable and impressionable captive audience, but neither John Della Volpe nor anyone else should be proud of it. What it shows is not that the Leftist case is compelling or persuasive; it shows that patriotic Americans have been far too complacent in allowing public schools to become centers of Leftist indoctrination and hatred of our own nation and heritage.
(snip)
Many, if not most, of the Gen Z-ers who voted overwhelmingly for the Left will, as they get older, come to realize how foolish and wrongheaded they were to support socialist internationalism and the managed decline of the United States. But others will never wake up, and will applaud that decline as retribution for centuries of alleged racism and colonialism. Even as their own cities and towns become ever more squalid, poor, dirty, and dangerous, they will continue to think of themselves as righteous for having chosen all that. That pride will be all they have left.

What money is your friend in Costa Rica living on? Is he living rent-free in that bungalow?
500/mo
Yup...Dominion, SEIU, etc
Didn’t happen in red states.
Something I heard on the car radio today (prob Clay and Buck show) from some stat guy
20% win for R’s from married men
13% from married women
5% from single men
And D’s got like a 37% win from single women (I think the show host referred to them as Karen’s)
I was driving when I heard this so my numbers may be slightly off.
Establishment Republicans?
Yes.
The thought crime laws will enforce happiness.
If you cannot - or will not comply - there is always the
'permanent' fentanyl happy pill.
I thank God my 3 grew up to be conservatives. In their 20s and see the true world in all it’s sinful shame yet live their lives well.
One thing I know already. If not for voters under 30 … tonight WOULD have been a Red Wave.

I’m not buying it..... this is just a tactic to make folks go back to sleep because they heard that there is logical reason for the results.
So the destruction of the education system worked. Creating a bunch of idiots who have no idea what it takes to self govern, scared of “Global Cooling/warming/change weather” and think they are owed a career even though the have a master degree in bikini inspection.
That says it all right there.
Public schools are teaching children to hate you, their country and themselves.
They're killing western civilization.
Most of them don’t even know that they voted.
I thought the group that blew it was called the Supreme Court. Had they not released a decision on the Dobbs case until after the election, the Dems would not have been able to fire up their pro-abortion base. The leak of the draft decision was obviously done to either push up the schedule or give the Dems something to scare women to the polls. The Dems got away with it, and Chief Justice Roberts has failed to expose the guilty party. Fifth column.
Where do you recommend moving to. You said cheap economies. In order to move. They would have to have good healthcare, good infrastructure, a safe environment. I could afford to move anywhere but I’m not sure where that would be..
Both of my elderly parents were Missouri residents All their lives. They both passed away in 2020 but not from Covid. Ironically
I received notice from Illinois that they had registered and become Illinois voters for eternity. They voted in the 2022 midterms for the first time in Illinois.
Speaking of voters with no life experience, and full indoctrination....
...I just got sad today.
Went to Target and standing behind a woman and her little girl at the returns.
This little toddler girl had a very proper perfect N95 mask fitted around her face. Never mind mom’s mask. Our area is sheepish, but all except medical “heroes” have removed these requirements long since.
It occurred to me how seriously, these kids are being indoctrinated in sheepishness, in following the rules, and getting USED to this garbage of tyrants telling you what is best to do.
Someday, these indoctrinated kids will turn into tyrants themselves, as they snitch on anyone who doesn’t “wear that” or “do this”, often in false fear.
Scary. But today, i just made me sad.
I agree that this is being done deliberately. Sick.

I used to live in California two doors down from a guy that rented his house out to a one-parent family (mother & kids) and he moved to Costa Rica. He stayed in Costa Rica 25 years or so collecting the rent. By chance, I suppose, the same family members continued to rent his CA house all those years even after the mother died (the kids grown up). He never did any repairs, so I suppose he kept the rent low, which must have helped him keep the same tenants. So that was at least part how he managed to be an ex-pat, though he did have a veterinary background to use.
He returned to sell the house after all those years, and the grown kids (his tenants) had to finally relocate. He probably netted most of the $600K sale due to 30 years of appreciation. I imagine he went back to CR after that.
I’m thinking the Philippines, I have a friend who’s a lawyer out there in case I get in trouble. ;) Also they have a VA hospital in Manila, the only one outside the US.
Then there’s Costa Rica, which has a pretty doggoned good health care system. They’ve been investing heavily in health care in anticipation of the US health care system collapsing, and anyone with money in the US going there for treatment. Smart guys.
I have a cousin living down in Guadalajara with his Mexican wife. Only thing with that is the cartels. I keep telling him he’s nuts...
