A few takeaways form last night. We did not have a "Red Wave" We barely managed to hang on to what we have Trump needs to retire. The defacto leader of the conservative movement is DeSantis Abortion and late term baby killing is more important to 50% of Americans than crime, inflation and energy independence. Republicans need to field candidates with competence and governance. Either we get rid of mail in voting or republicans learn to cheat like the democrats. We must expand our influence among Hispanic voters. With their family values they are extremely important. I am thankful if we can demote Pelosi. I'd rather have a 5 seat majority than none at all. I do wonder where Newt Gingrich's 40-60 seat tsunami went.
I see you ignored all the substance in my post #148, for which the poster I was replying to, gave me a thumbs up.
I mean Atlanta is the largest population center. It has about one third of all the states voters. They carry a big stick
Precisely
We are going to lose in 2024 because of people like you. Trump didn’t cause the losses last night. There were multiple reasons . One being that people fell for that stupid red wave idea and thought all races should be a win. There was fraud, and there is no current evidence yet that DeSantis could win a national election. His endorsement outside Florida also lost. He is a good Governor but not everyone follows everything Florida.
He hasn’t even said he is going to run this time. Chris Christie and Linda Graham might be running though. They have already chimed in with words quite like yours.
“Ben Shapiro is on his podcast claiming we can win the Hispanic but he is so full of shit”
I doubt that Little Ben Shapiro has ever had much personal experience with our latino hermanos despite his having grown up in SoCal. ‘Hispanic’ btw isn’t a term that our homies and pochos use, it’s a term that we gabachos pin on them. They use “latino”.
Some of us in Mexico Norte (California) know that there’s plenty of rivalry even among those from Mexico. Bar fights can erupt over the superiority of Oaxaca vs Chihuahua vs Michoacan. But despite that they all vote Democrat.
A wise analysis. The GOP will never figure out what you have no matter have often their pipedream fails to materialize.
“But it’s always been that way.”
Reed Irvine started his “AIM Report” newsletter back in 1972. AIM = Accuracy In Media.... it was the first good conservative source focusing on the pervasive bias in the mainstream press. Reed did a good enough job that the MSM reacted to his little newsletter.
I was disappointed that Rush never threw a bone to AIM. Maybe he wasn’t aware of them. Who knows.
Yes we have to be positive knowing how it ends. Evil does not win but gets destroyed forever. Praise Jesus!
