Whish Socrates and Plato would come back to tear these preeners new ones. What is worse, the monks of Medieval debating how many angels can dance on a pin or these so called philosophers debating a willful disregard for human life. How does this argument define "suffering"? Is a non-free range chicken suffering? How does one know if a chicken is even suffering? How does one define "save". Would it involve any intervention on the part of in dividuals and society? If drowning is okay then denial of any aid is fine too. Going one more step, if someone determines the suffering the man is causing is more than the man's life, then it appears to me the man should be murdered either judicially or non-judicical.

By this logic, we should exterminate all carnivorous species.

Don’t laugh - even though the Globalists are busy using Ukraine to try to “weaken Russia” right now, they CLEARLY plan to either eliminate meat completely, or make it very, very, expensive - something you might get to eat once or twice a year if you’re middle class.

Imagine what a plant feels when you chomp on it, masticate it, digest it, absorb its nutrients and excrete the leftovers. It’s horrendous.
PLANTS HAVE FEELINGS TOO
Just like us, plants have skin that reacts to the environment around them, and this is crucial to their survival
