It would appear that UK schools are trying to be as deplorable as are ours. However, they’ll still have a long way to go since we’ve got the NEA and like-minded butt holes which are quite adept at making sure that the basics will never be taught again. Most young people know nothing of WW1, Mexican-American war, Spanish-American or the Philippine–American War.
Most youngsters think it was the Democrats who traveled through the south signing up blacks to vote. They think it was Republicans who manned the fire hoses and wielded the batons during the civil rights protests.
Today’s youngsters haven’t a clue.
