Singer Aaron Carter reportedly dead at age 34 (fentanyl?)

TMZ reported that singer and actor Aaron Carter is dead at the age of 34. A representative for Aaron's brother, Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, confirmed the entertainer's death to the New York Post.

The singer was reportedly found dead on Saturday at his home in Lancaster, California.

TMZ reported, "Multiple sources tell us Aaron's body was found in his bathtub. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ they received a 911 call at 11 AM Saturday that a male had drowned in the tub."

I don’t agree with Kanye’s tweets about Jews, but he is bipolar. I’d like to think he could be educated into a better view. Mot sure anyone wants that in today’s world. I don’t really follow his music, but he seems to have manic episodes.

Last time I fit in a tub I was 14. A full grown man probably wouldn’t fit

I was 6 ft 3/8 in and 115 lbs at age 11. At age 66, 5 ft 11 in, 153 lbs. I still fit in a bath tub, but I prefer a shower to save time and water. The last time I was in a pool was 2005 at the high risk survival training hosted at PAX in MD. I hadn't been swimming in a pool since 1984. The training included swimming 15 yards under water with helmet, flight suit and jump boots (free swim). The next part had a 15 yard bar affixed to the 4 ft deep section of the pool You were seat belted to the bar, then released to do hand over hand to a hatch with 5 different mechanisms to open it. You were expected to go through the hatch before exiting. Next trip: blind-folded...do it again. I'm thankful that I wasn't part of the helicopter training. That one includes being in a helo mock-up that gets dropped in the water, flips upside down and sinks. Only then are you supposed to attempt egress. There was a young lady in our class that was slated to fly on Marine One with President Bush, so she was doing that exercise.

A full grown man would fit in my tub. When it is full, I, a petite woman, literally float. There is more than a foot between my toes and the end when I sit in it.

I live in 300k house. Carter probably lives in a million dollar home. I’m sure his tub is even bigger than mine.

A shame. I remember Aaron Carter from the early 2000's when my kids use to listen to his music. At that time he was a young, clean cut, child star who sung harmless "bubblegum pop" pre-teen music. But like many child stars, his superstar status pretty much ended when he grew up. He made a rather laughable attempt to reinvent himself as some sort of hard-core rapper of the Eminem variety (hence the face tattoos) but that went nowhere, and he spent the past decade in and out of rehab and mental health clinics.

So, yeah I'm guessing OD or suicide, actually I'm surprised he even made it too 34.

He was very troubled like too many child stars. He was allegedly sexually abused, his parents apparently robbed him of millions, he claimed to be diagnosed bipolar and schizophrenic, he struggled with drugs and his adult career really when nowhere while his older brother stayed famous and busy with Backstreet Boys. They lost a sister to drugs I think, their father’s also passed. Aaron has a surviving twin sister as well as an 11 month old son with an off and on girlfriend.

It’s a sad situation that played out in the public eye, on social media, television and elsewhere. In a grieving post, his brother asked God to look after his baby brother who he said couldn’t find peace here on earth. Amen.
