Acapulco, was a place you go to, play golf and be safe.

You’d take a plane out of Chicago in the morning, and you’d be on the beach by noon.

Now it’s a hell hole.

United States cities with the highest murder rates.

Note that all have been run by Democrats for decades, with the exception of Las Vegas, where the mayor switched from Democrat to Independent in 2009, and the City Council is split 3 Republicans and 3 Democrats. The Mayor of San Juan PR, is a member of the New Progressive Party for Commonwealth elections and the Democrat party for National elections.

1. St. Louis, MO - 64 per 100,000 (Democrat)
2. Baltimore, MD - 58.63 per 100,000 (Democrat)
3. San Juan, PR - 54.03 per 100,000 (New Progressive / Democrat)
4. Birmingham, AL- 50.62 per 100,000 (Democrat)
5. Detroit, MI - 40.74 per 100,000 (Democrat)
6. New Orleans, LA - 40.6 per 100,000 (Democrat)
7. Dayton, OH -34.18 per 100,000 (Democrat)
8. Cleveland, OH - 33.7 per 100,000 (Democrat)
9. Baton Rouge, LA - 31.72 per 100,000 (Democrat)
10. Las Vegas,NV - 31.4 per 100,000 (Mayor (I), City Council split 3 R, 3 D)

No US cities in that list. Maybe that is why the Democrats in charge in big US cities are letting the crime rate to explode because they are striving to make that list.

Acapulco was always very iffy if you decided to take a hike away from the resort areas.

I remember going there as a youngster with my parents.

I told my parents—”they hate us”—and never wanted to go back.

“Almost all in Mexico.”

We know of two dual citizens, who visited or retired to Mexico and no one knows if they are still alive and/or where if so.

Many Americans are walking across the borders in border town areas for dental and/or health care.

Last but not least, a relative in our SW has told us of a continual flow of Americans to Mexico to retire.

Nothing at all surprising about this. Most of central/south america, like africa are effectively failed states.

America is becoming one.

I’ve thought about this quite a bit. The biggest common denominator for so many of these countries is Spain. I don’t know what it is, but you really can’t point to hardly any place in the world that was colonized by Spain that is is not dysfunctional. The Contrast with former English colonies couldn’t be more stark.

Give the 'rats time. They'll get us there.

Or they'll bring their South American hellhole criminals up to the border and let the cartels walk 'em across...

If England colonized a country - that country has a greater chance of being lawful and civilized. Odd how that works out.

You’d take a plane out of Chicago San Francisco in the morning, and you’d be on the beach by noon. We had a couple of great timeshares to go to as non members during the slow time the weeks after ThanksGiving and New Years. Then, we started seeing 18 to 20 year old guys with automatic weapons at the airports, bus terminals and outside the time shares. That became the standard up and down the Western Mexican coastal cities 365 days/nights. Then, we tried going down on Cruise Ships from Gay Frisco. The armed yutes were everywhere and sometimes we were advised not go off the ships in port. We haven't been to Mexico since 9/11.

Maybe Biden and his goons are creating a 'private army'... with help from China and the cartels.

Ever wonder how/why 2 million+ people in the last year have 'disappeared' into the US (middle of the night plane trips to small obscure airports) within the US? Why not where the jobs are? Why rural areas?

Yes, many illegals are working at Chinese food processing plants - that might account for 50,000 of illegals. But that's still a drop in the bucket.

“If England colonized a country - that country has a greater chance of being lawful and civilized. Odd how that works out.”

Before WWII ended, England and America set up an intel system and sharing of results betwe,en:

England/UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and America.

It was nicknamed the 5 eyes, and it is still active with NZ semi.

India will probably become another member officially.
