California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) is warning fellow Democrats that a “red wave” is coming next Tuesday, and that the party is not doing enough to compete with Republicans on “messaging.”
Newsom, who has focused on trolling Republican governors in Florida and Texas rather than campaigning at home, issued his warning in an interview Tuesday with CBS news. Asked whether the election feels like a “red wave,” Newsom replied: “Yeah. Of course it does. And again, I’m not paid to say that, I’m paid to say, you know, [indistinguishable] — I get it. Look, I mean, I could be the cheerleader. I’m also a pragmatist. You feel it.”
Newsom said that Democrats are “getting crushed on narrative.” He did not suggest any problems with Democratic Party policies on the economy, crime, or the border, three of the issues that are most important to voters.
He told Major Garrett of CBS that he had “no interest” in running for the President of the United States. Asked whether he could say that he would “never” run, Newsom said, “Yeah.”

I think you’re going to see 60% of Is and 15-20% of Ds in some locations vote R. If this happens then you’re going to see the Dem party splinter for real. I don’t think moderate Dems have anything to vote for. Especially suburban women.
You might see black men vote for Herschel Walker and people completely abandon Fetterman as well, leaving Shapiro missing thousands of votes. I think PA’s polling has been done poorly.
Newsom… it isn’t messaging.. rather, it’s that good Americans despise you and your policy positions.

AS a resident of the state of California, I hate this guy.
My car needs gas and I dread filling up today, going price is still well over $5.00/gallon.
Newsom refuses to suspend the gas tax, highest in the nation, and continues to drive businesses and productive citizens out of the state. His answer to everything is higher taxes and more illegals.

Money is the mother’s milk of politic.
To get elected requires money and lots of it. So the question becomes who is providing the money for Democrats and what is they expect in return?
Unions are big supporters but union money is not enough.
Another question why are the large corporation based in San Francisco quiet about how the Democrats have destroyed that city?
If I was to guess I would same some outside (of our nation) has found a way to control the Democrat leadership. Every policy they push harms and weakens our nation. It can not be by accident.

I am thinking of a slightly different direction. What if he’s saying this just to get us Conservatives to stop fighting and start celebrating too soon?

If the Republicans would put up some shell NGOs to pay into DSA (Democratic Socialism) coffers, they could get some real traction with pulling 10% of the Dems who are real rabid leftists and giving them a different party to vote for.
The issue, is the Left still controls all the Institutions, you can’t vote them out of there.
