The Brooklyn Nets suspended Kyrie Irving for at least five games without pay Thursday, dismayed by his repeated failure to "unequivocally say he has no antisemitic beliefs."
Hours after Irving refused to issue the apology NBA commissioner Adam Silver sought for posting a link to an antisemitic work on his Twitter feed, the Nets said Irving is "currently unfit to be associated with the Brooklyn Nets."
"We were dismayed today, when given an opportunity in a media session, that Kyrie refused to unequivocally say he has no antisemitic beliefs, nor acknowledge specific hateful material in the film. This was not the first time he had the opportunity -- but failed -- to clarify," the Nets said in a statement.
"Such failure to disavow antisemitism when given a clear opportunity to do so is deeply disturbing, is against the values of our organization, and constitutes conduct detrimental to the team. Accordingly, we are of the view that he is currently unfit to be associated with the Brooklyn Nets."

Excuse the Nets are using to get rid of what they view as locker room poison. The NBA is as ate up as the NFL, NASCAR, etc.

If he just came out and denounced Trump I’m sure all would be forgiven and he’d be dribbling in no time.
He linked to an anti-Semitic film. He may have done something else. But it probably has more weight since he chose to be unvaccinated.

I think I know what Anti-Semitism is I remember some guy named Adolf was getting jabbed by his doctor every day.
He wanted his shots every day.
Those who objected to the COVID jab have been demonized as “Anti-Semites” among other things and Kyrie Irving is high-profile needs to be punished.
The NBA suspended him over this, but they kick you out of the league for defending Muslims against genocide.

Also in the mix the FBI tonight warning of a threat to synagogues in New Jersey right before the election next Tuesday news stories bringing up Kanye West and Kyrie Irving in connection with it.
