Angry motorists pushed over eco protestors and dragged them off the road in an attempt to unblock traffic after they sat down in the middle of the motorway in Rome.
Eco protestors have been blocking highways across Europe, prompting scuffles as the protestors clash with drivers trying to get to work and keep appointments.
One motorist with grey hair and glasses can be heard saying in Italian that his mother suffers from ankylosing spondylitis, a rare type of arthritis, and is in the car with him.
He can be seen grabbing a female protestor and dragging her across the road, shouting: 'You've ****** me off now, my mother is in the car ill.'
At one point, a motorist pushes a protestor to the ground, with the encounter looking close to turning violent.
In another close moment, a driver accelerates into a protestor blocking their path, who moves out of the way to avoid being run over.
A female activist who appeared to be taking an active role in negotiating with the motorists told the man he needed to stay calm and cooperate.
Another motorist shouted in the women's face: 'Let's create 18 nuclear plants and we can solve the problem this way.'
She shook her said saying: 'No, we need to resolve this now!'
The motorists continued to insult the activists as they repositioned themselves in front of the cars.
'Let's get rid of this banner for **** sake, I need to go to work, I don't care what you're doing here,' said another angry motorist, tearing away the banner explaining their cause.

There is a legislative solution... make it legal to run over people intentionally laying in the street.
Big mistake for the ecoloons. You don’t sit down in traffic in Rome. In Rome, other cars are the enemy, let alone eco jagoffs
disturbing the action, while cars joust to the death without regard to traffic signs or speed limits.
We need some of these FURIOUS ITALIAN MOTORISTS on the U.S. southern border. Nothing else seems to be working. Not even our military. You know, the one that gets subcontracted out every once in awhile to protect some other country’s stinking little border. You know, the one that gets duped into believing it’s defending America each and every time it gets shipped overseas by the neocons in service under some flag nobody even recognizes. Spit.
Many years ago in Seattle some protesters blocked I5 down town. The state Patrol blocked traffic and herded the protesters on to an off ramp.
Why did they do this? Because in Seattle I’d kill the protesters, as would most others. We got places to go.
The protesters don’t mean a damn thing to me.
I’d sooner swerve for a deer, goose or a duck. Protesters are just speed bumps.
Coming to a highway near you. The easiest way to lower inflation is to go balls to the wall fracking with light sweet crude refining. Adding 10M bbl per day will bring down the dost of diesel to $1.80. Everything we buy will be instantly cheaper. The left will go nuts! Let them bust into the MOMA and glue themselves to Starry Night!

That’s how you do it. If they block traffic, you come to blows and throw their bodies off to the side, every single time.
Bring back the Legions and reopen the Colosseum. Of course none of these pasty boys would provide much entertainment but Lyons got to eat same as worms.
