Yesterday I attended a meet and greet Q&A, sponsored by a Veterans group, which featured: Abe Hamadah (AZ AG candidate), Blake Masters and Keri Lake. Some Comments:
Abe Hamadeh - At 31 he is pretty young for the position he is aspiring to, but he is smart, articulate, comes across very well and has a big future ahead of him. He mentioned several areas of concern to him and to Arizonans: The Border, Care for Veterans and election integrity.
Blake Masters -- To be honest I was not impressed with Masters prior to yesterday, I am now. He comes across far better in person than on TV. He did clear up one question I had, which was to address Kelly's attacks on him for being "anti-Military". He confirmed his support for the men and women in uniform, but condemned in no uncertain terms the military leaders, specifically: Miley and Austin. He also stated that their leading the parade down a path of 'wokeness' is damaging and weakening the military. The response was overwhelmingly enthusiastic.
Kari Lake -- Outstanding candidate, one who comes across very well and not afraid to take on any comers. She must have referred to the "Fake News" 6 or 7 times. The media was there in large numbers, but it barely made the news as Obama was also in town. If she loses, we will know the system was rigged against her.
Thanks for the excellent update!
Wish I could have been there.
Great report. Lake is by far the most impressive R candidate to emerge in years. Congrats to you for escaping “SF” (if that refers to San Francisco)!
Thanks for sharing. We have an exceptional slate of candidates in Arizona this election. It’s nice for once not to have to hold our noses when it comes time to vote. Let’s not waste the opportunity.
The use of "michael.SF" goes back to 2001 when I went "undercover" on a board called: Democratic Talk Radio. I used the guise of a history teacher at San Francisco City College. That was my first experience at posting in any forum and I went there just to mess with them, in a subtle fashion. Took them about 3 or 4 months to figure out what I was really doing. I kept the same nickname when I came here.
OH, that they may save Arizona. Pray hard!
You’ll know how much fraud is involved if Lake wins and they tell us Masters lost. That would make zero sense.
The statewide and local Republican candidates are scheduled to be at the Yavapai County Courthouse in Prescott on Monday November 7 at 6 pm.
It’s the traditional mid-term closing rally and it’s been held at the steps of the courthouse at least since the Goldwater days.
Good point. Masters is still trailing slightly in the polls, but I cannot imagine people voting for Lake and then Kelly.
Part of the difference might be there is no (except for write-in) Libertarian candidate for governor but is one for US Senator. Although that candidate has dropped out there are a lot of idiots in Yavapai and Mohave Counties that have and will vote for the Libertarian.
I think also Masters will get more of the votes from those that do switch their votes than will Kelly.
“I understand that the Libertarian was polling at about 15%. His name will still be on the ballot, and I believe that the Libertarians should still vote for him to demonstrate their dissatisfaction with the D’s and the R’s.”
I think they should vote for Masters, who the Libertarian announced he now supports.
I think the polls a few weeks ago had the Libertarian at 6%, still enough to cause Masters to possibly lose.
Yavapai and Mohave County Liberaltarians are really a dumb bunch of people.
The Libertarian candidate dropped out of the race and came out publicly endorsing Blake Masters.
