Walter Parsons, owner of Pets Gone Wild Resort, bought the eye-catching sign after growing frustrated at some of the workers whom he had previously employed.
“We’re trying to weed out the people that do come in. We hired one last week that lasted three days,” Parsons told told KHOU 11.
While the unconventional tactic seems to have worked for Parsons, some locals have taken offense at the unconventional signage.
Despite the criticism, Parsons said that within 24 hours of putting up the terse banner, he found three applicants.
The pet daycare owner said previous staff were unmotivated, often paying closer attention to their cellphones than the pets they were being paid to look after.
“Repeatedly, ‘Get off your cellphone, you’ve got dogs to watch.’ ‘OK, put the cellphone up, go back out there.’ Twenty minutes later, she’s back on her cellphone,” Parsons said. “At least be as smart as I am.”

Snowflakes and their elected politicians get rattled over the goofiest things. It’s almost like they don’t have anything worthwhile to do with their empty lives. They need to stick to Youtube and TikTok and send out for pizza. STAY INSIDE YOU IDIOTS!
Employers need their employees to actually produce something, and to be smart enough to do so. But any employer who posts this will be ripped apart, because employers are expected to keep non-productive people of a certain type on the payroll. Other employees will take up the slack for them.
I’m convinced that the dumbest ones of all are in Los Angeles.
A few years ago, Houston elected a guy who played them. His name was the same as a one time black politician. He was a white guy and never put his face on a poster and never campaigned. Just threw his name in the hat. Lots of stupid people in Houston.

I’d guess that is a recurring problem across much of the working
society today. People moving about with the cell phone on and
ear bugs in place listened to it or reading the latest text message.
News station found one person to complain...Taylor...and they had to do a news article on this.

BTW...not only is Taylor a whiny Karen beotch...she’s stupid.
He needs to stop being stupid and set up a cellphone locker for employees. Lock them up except on lunchhour and closing time. If possible, link the employee clock-in, clock-out to the phone locker. Any emergency personal calls have to go through the main switchboard, answered by the manager.
That little Karen in the video is apparently “identifying” with the stupid people, and is offended on their behalf. What a loon.
It was a youngish woman with pale skin and non-African features in the video.
