1.) We have 25 days of diesel fuel left.
2.) Biden has failed to come to an agreement with rail workers’ unions, and a strike could start as soon as November 19th.
...
If we actually run out of diesel fuel, the result on our supply chain would be catastrophic. We could expect shelves to empty and cargo ships to divert from America to places that have a better chance of delivering the goods. What’s more, prices would skyrocket on any good that has to be transported – which is basically all of them. If you can find it at all, it will cost significantly more.
Right after Republicans win both houses.
Democrats and the media will blame Trump and Republicans 24/7 and BLM/Antifa will get the green light to burn, loot, murder.
“ 1.) We have 25 days of diesel fuel left.”

And everyday a portion of that inventory is withdrawn/distributed/sold and most days newly refined diesel is added.
More diesel should be refined than is currently being produced and on-hand inventory should ideally be higher but we will not run out of diesel in November.
Biden’s handlers have to know that the absence of diesel fuel would be the last straw.
The whole country would demand the immediate resignation of ChinaJoe, Kaahmaahlaah, and all congressional aspirants to the White House.
Even Joe Manchin would be toxic.
What is the normal amount of Diesel on hand?
Which/Who’s caches of same are included in this number?
How many days of Diesel are in the US pipelines at any given time?
You can guarantee that?
My local electric company here in New England just sent us a letter to let us know that “rolling blackouts” are likely this winter if it gets below 10 degrees (which it will). The blackouts could last a week, so stock up on firewood. Too bad about that electricity. Hope you weren’t counting on it.
Ping for your consideration.
circle back for this
Rolling blackout of a week for an individual connection?
It is my (possibly defective) impression that diesel, home heating oil, and jet fuel are all quite close to being kerosene — and possibly adjustment, conversion, or selective re-purposing might help?
Anyone? Beuler?
Not sure what you mean by “individual connection”. The problem is that the power generating plants are going to run out of diesel, and New England has spent years intentionally reducing our capability to generate power in other ways (coal, nuclear, etc.). This has been building for years, and with a shortage of diesel we are now at the point where rolling blackouts seem inevitable in cold weather.
Does anybody on this forum have horses?
Here’s a business opportunity...Enterprise Rent a Horse.
That’s gonna be tough. I hope the hospitals and nursing homes have sufficient backup fuel for their gen sets.
Sounds like the system is “safe and effective”.
This all a set up for Biden to declare a national emergency and nationalize the petroleum industry. aka the Venezuela effect.
Prepper’s ping.
“1.) We have 25 days of diesel fuel left.”
Two weeks ago we had 25 days of diesel left
Six months ago we only had 30 days of diesel fuel left!
In 2008 we only had 20 days of diesel left.
I thought you were going to bring up wood pellets.
“Too bad about that electricity. Hope you weren’t counting on it.”
If only they had built those offshore windmill farms at Martha’s Vineyard.
