I returned to Washington D.C. for the first time since moving to Florida. What I saw just BLOCKS from the White House left me in Shock. You won't believe this..
He sounds like a classic liberal. I never minded them much because even if I disagreed with their ideas and they mine, they appreciated debate and understood that a fair representation should be made to people who could then choose accordingly.
That ship sailed long ago and we are much worse off for it.
I fell in love for the first time in DC. Those are some of the happiest memories of my 53 years. It physically hurts me to watch the news and see places my girlfriend and I went, the memories of those places, and to see them desecrated by homeless camps and violent Communist mobs.

My Grandfather worked in DC after graduating University in 1931. Most of Arlington was corn fields, Tyson’s Corner was literally a country cross-roads with a stop sign, the site of the Pentagon was a black “freedman’s” village, and he would regularly see the Vice President and Cabinet members out at lunch at various taverns/restaurants near the White House.

A new R Congress should rescind Home Rule and return administration of the federal district to the Congress itself. They should also retrocede ALL inhabited areas back to Maryland, so the left stops trying to create a State out of a hell-hole.
