Washington Post: "Russia’s ongoing attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure have been so methodical and destructive that administration officials say they are being led by power experts who know exactly which targets will cause the most damage to Ukraine’s power grid.”
North American experts on infrastructure warfare believe the Russian strategy is to intensify the pressure on Washington, Warsaw, and Berlin to decide if they are willing to take over the direct war-fighting as the Ukrainian resources are being exhausted – replacing air defences, artillery, electricity supplies and equipment, fuel, troops, and advisors. “There’s a logistical limit for NATO to fight to the last Ukrainian”, one of the expert sources observes. “It’s not to the last Ukrainian who can be put on to the battlefield. It’s to the last volt to get him there, supplied with food, fuel and ordnance.”
“Weapons and ammunition can be replaced, troops trained to use new systems, cash transferred from Washington and Brussels for Kiev to pay the soldiers, and so on. But the infrastructure cannot be fixed with replacements or money. I’m sure the kitchen sink is being thrown at the country. But how are you going to tie in German power transformers, etc., to the Ukrainian grid? What a mess.”

Yes, long article...had to be excerpted. But, it gives a full picture of what this energy war is all about and how things are likely to turn out.
Even gives the data showing that Ukrainians have begun to leave at a higher rate beginning on October 10th (when the energy installation attacks began.) Europe is going to have additional problems with millions of new refugees.
The real shock will come when Russia releases Industroyer 2.0. Z-man seems to be a slow learner, or just figures his pal Joe will send him billions forever.

In some cases, I wish a few of those refugees could be transported to the United States. Many of these folks were already holding jobs, had already become at least literate in their own language and a few others. Had the culture of a strong family unit. Already understand the basic customs of hygiene and personal care in a neighborhood setting.
I have heard many of the refugees from Afghanistan do not have these same qualities and are not particularly interested in learning the American way. I.e. Pooping anyplace.

US can send Electricity to Kiev via a really long extension cord. Americans are willing to freeze and starve to make sure Russia can not steal the Donbass section. Besides, Russia will be out of Rockets soon—they will run out of Drones too, when Iran folds up in revolution. Then Russia will fall into civil war and Putin shoots himself as the Ukrainians close in on his Bunker. Russia is so corrupt that USA and UK can beat them in a month. Ukraine should seize the Russian oil fields and pump them dry. Gas will be back to a buck a gallon. The future is with Zekenskyy! Would that we had a leader like him! Russia will be better off under a democrat like him rather than Putin. He will being Russia into the 21st Century. The war will be over in two weeks.

“Our source in the Office of the President said that a meeting on the country’s energy security was held at Bankova yesterday, at which scenarios were presented for the development of the situation in Ukraine if missile strikes on critical infrastructure continue. “40 days, and then the unified power supply system will be disrupted, the country will turn into closed islands. Most of the territory of Ukraine will remain without electricity, rolling blackouts will not help, and the population will have to be evacuated so that the cities do not freeze.”
The mayor of Kramatorsk Alexander Goncharenko said that at night the Russian Armed Forces launched 14 missile strikes on the industrial zone of the city, publishing a photo of one of the destroyed objects.
