There used to be a guy on here that would post his ghost story every Halloween, and I always enjoyed reading it every year. I don't know if it has been posted this year yet or not.

I once saw a ghost.

It turned out it was just my sister trying to fold a fitted sheet.

I stayed in a large Victorian house in UK, on a small hill surrounded by spooky trees.

In my bedroom was an ornate clothes cabinet with a large trunk up on top.

One day I asked the landlady what was in the truck

My mothers bones she replied.

Me....say what...?

Mother was a doctor ...that was her office skeleton.

On this thread, I posted this comment: I never saw ghosts as a kid, but the place I live now has a poltergeist.

Twice, I've had shelves dumped over, one in the middle of the night. Scared the crap out of me.

Once I heard what sounded like a gunshot in the other room. Went to investigate, didn't smell any powder. Thought it might have been a bike tire blowing out. No, those were good.

And then the light fixture in the kitchen just fell out of the ceiling. I heard a crash and there it was, dangling by a few wires.

I've often felt a 'presence' at times.
