A 50-year-old Florida man was arrested after deputies questioned him for loitering and things became “methed” up.
Robert Lawson, 50, was questioned by Pinellas County Deputies on Wednesday after he was spotted loitering near a wooded area in Clearwater.
Deputies say that during a “consensual encounter,” Lawson reportedly gave investigators permission to search him and his bags.
According to an affidavit, Lawson produced a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and a small baggie containing a “crystal substance” that field tested positive for methamphetamine.
In a grocery bag, the deputy located an uncapped syringe with a brown liquid residue.
After being placed under arrest, Lawson, told the Pinellas County Sheriff Deputy to simply call “the FBI and Saint Petersburg Police department because he is allowed to carry methamphetamine,” according to the affidavit.
Lawson was arrested on a felony drug possession charge and a misdemeanor drug paraphernalia count and booked into the Pinellas County Jail on a $2,150 bond.
PING.
50 year old drug addict SMH........that’s not even funny.......to me anyway
Given the current state of Federal law enforcement I don’t doubt for a second that the Fibbers told him it was okay.
That was my first reaction, too. He is telling the truth. The FBI is using him somehow, probably to get DeSantis or Trump.
the feds GAVE Him a FREE CRACK/ METH pipe!!
Tweakers got to tweak.
I don’t doubt the FBI told him that. That’s how eff’d the FBI is. Every FBI agent is anti-American scum. They have been directly breaking the way or complicit in their silence for decades. Shutter the entire thing. That’s the only way to restore trust.
Hunter’s supplier. Makes perfect sense.
They always let Hunter do this. Even when he was under Secret Service protection.
That's only if he carry’s the meth across the southern border. Just ask the FBI
Maybe he has their business card so they will know exactly who to talk to about this.
