Actually, no. The internet collective had this pretty well figgered out in about 15 seconds.
That’s what makes this more and more bizarrely comical because the “Media” apparently has their marching orders, (apparently that order is “Blame Donald Trump”). It’s a textbook example of precisely why nobody believes or trusts the news any longer. Not even a little bit. For an industry that depends on trust and credibility, that is a huge deal.
It’s more of a “crowd sourced” kind of information gathering process, I’d guess you could call it. We’re reduced to reverse-engineering a lot of stuff, sadly, but it’s been honed to be pretty effective. Ya don’t need to be Sherlock Holmes to sense something is very very wrong about the fairy tale they are trying to push.

Exactly, if the guy broke into the house to harm Paul or Nancy Pelosi, why does he need a bathroom break and why would he allow anyone to use the phone and talk on it while he was standing there.

It’s only my opinion, but I think Nanzie sacrificed her hubs in a political plot that backfired. Timing is perfect. But, the hubs lived and the perp wasn’t as Maga as she bargained for. Will be interesting when it all comes out.
