We gather Golden Oyster Mushrooms and Morels. Once in a while, Hen of the Woods, but they’re usually too ‘woody’ by the time we find them. (Also called Pheasant Back, I think?)
The fun part of hunting mushrooms in the Spring is coming across new-born fawns tucked in here and there while Mama is off grazing. Always magical. :)
