It Follows
Set in Detroit Michigan. You might recognize some of the settings
An evil being transmitted by sex. Low budget, but well done. Pretty spooky stuff.
“A young woman is followed by an unknown supernatural force after a sexual encounter.”

What did the nazis leave behind in a WW2 bunker? Let’s find out.
The sequel ain’t bad either.
“In a seedy bar in a town ravaged by war, mysterious businessman Hunt hires ex-marine D.C. to assemble a crack team of ex-soldiers to protect him on a dangerous journey into no-man’s land. To this gang of hardened warriors, battle-worn veterans and borderline criminals killing is just a job - and one they enjoy. Their mission - to scope out an old military bunker. It should be easy - 48 hours at the most. Lots of cash for little risk, or so he says. “

Frankensteins Army
One of my all time favorites. Mosin action. Mosquito man. Propeller face. What could Dr. Frankenstein’s grandson be doing to help the nazis in1945?
He should learn to sew better.
“Toward the end of World War II, Russian soldiers pushing into eastern Germany stumble across a secret Nazi lab, one that has unearthed and begun experimenting with the journal of one Dr. Victor Frankenstein.”

The Haunting-original 1963 movie, based on a Shirley Jackson novel.
No blood, just bone chilling sounds, dialogue and cinematography. Julie Harris was brilliant.
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!..................
However, the one film I did watch that briefly freaked me out was The Ring. When that visual "blurb" moved across the TV screen near the beginning in the movie, THAT caught me off guard and freaked me out. I shouldn't have watched in in the dark...as I was advised to.
Other than that....can't come up with any that are worth the time to watch.
Some Halloween madness
The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra.
You must. Trust me on this one.
This is a great topic. I’ll go with-
Day of the Triffids (plants gone wild)
Gorgo (also a good Mothers Day movie)
Night of the Lepus (bunny rabbits are cute no matter how big they get)
The Fly (original version)
Sean of the Dead (proving that dead can be fun)

Freegards, happy halloween
The Exorcist. Especially if you were raised Catholic. And the book is really, really scary.
“Shock Waves” Peter Cushing, and Zombie Nazis 1970’s
I remember being in a video rental place (remember those? lol)
and I noticed they had The Changeling in the horror section. I had seen it recently (on TV) and remarked to the clerk about it and he told me that he saw it at a theatre in Montreal when it was first released. The part that really scared him was when the George C Scott character played back the seance tape to listen to “What is your name?..Joseph” as the Dolby sound system made it that more effective.
Also Carrie (never forget the ending scene), Halloween (the music was very effective), and surprisingly Amityville II: The Possession.
The most recent horror film I been seeing is Called ‘THE BIDEN-HARRIS ADMINISTRATION’. It seems so real... 😁
Halloween movies or horror movies?
If the latter, I’ll add The Cabin in the Woods, which ranks with Blazing Saddles as one of the all-time great comic deconstructions of its genre. I rarely watch horror films these days and am stale enough that I don’t recognize most of the “horrors” that are unleashed. The Lovecroftian framing I do understand, and I completely loved the role of the chem department: so many bad decisions finally explained!
A Clock work orange.
