I have seen that one. Hilarious homage to the fifties stuff.

This is a great topic. I’ll go with-
Day of the Triffids (plants gone wild)
Gorgo (also a good Mothers Day movie)
Night of the Lepus (bunny rabbits are cute no matter how big they get)
The Fly (original version)
Sean of the Dead (proving that dead can be fun)

I have seen these. All good. If you liked Sean of the Dead, try a brit zombie flick called Doghouse.
“Vince is handling his divorce badly. He’s depressed. Gone to pieces. But his mates aren’t giving up on him. Struggling with their own women troubles, they drag him off for an ultimate lads drinking weekend in the country. Arriving in the village of Moodley where the women outnumber the men 3:1, the boys find themselves holidaying in a village overrun by psychotic, homicidal Zombirds with a thirst for male flesh.”

The Exorcist. Especially if you were raised Catholic. And the book is really, really scary.

80s horror ficks were awesome......dark humor, not like today when it’s all disgusting and gruesome.

Oh yeah…Motel Hell - brilliant stuff! That was one of the classics that would be shown at the midnight movies on Fridays and Saturdays in the 80s.

Thanks. Mandy looks like Nic Cage playing himself. (Drive Angry is a fun one with him.)

Reminds me of Black Christmas. Scared the hell outta me. (When I was 14)
I think they did a remake.

The book by Fr. Malachi Martin on what he believed to be true possession cases is darn scary.

I remember being in a video rental place (remember those? lol)
and I noticed they had The Changeling in the horror section. I had seen it recently (on TV) and remarked to the clerk about it and he told me that he saw it at a theatre in Montreal when it was first released. The part that really scared him was when the George C Scott character played back the seance tape to listen to “What is your name?..Joseph” as the Dolby sound system made it that more effective.
