My diagnosis of Joe Biden’s sudden lurch to the far left is that Joe pretty much never believed in much at all. He said what he said and did what he did to secure his grip on power. For most of his career, that meant representing himself as a moderate, good old likeable “lunch pail” Joe. Thus, when President Obama needed an alleged moderate grinning white male vice president to reassure the voters about himself, Biden was more than willing to be the useful prop. However, when, as a consequence of the Democrat determination to get rid of their mortal threat, Donald Trump, “by any means necessary,” power brokers in the Democrat party offered Biden a deal — that they would grant his lifelong dream and install him in the presidency by representing him as good old moderate Joe but only on condition that he agree to implement their entire far-left agenda if elected. Biden did not hesitate to agree. He did not think about the country. He thought about his favourite subject matter: Himself. Similarly, when he thought about choosing a running mate, he did not think about the country. He thought about himself and picked a VP candidate based, not on actual ability but upon his agreements with the far-left power-brokers of his Party.
I believe that biden was told that he would be put into the Oval Office on condition that he obey the wishes of the abortionists, marxists, trans, proponents of reparations, BLM, antifa and other leftists, and give them whatever they want.
He willingly complied. He is repaying them big time.

Then he makes the moronic statement that he thought the senile Sleepy Joe puppet Manchurian Candidate was a “moderate.” ROFLMAO! Why are there so many dipshits in the Republican Party? It’s no wonder that the nutcase Democrats/RINOs so easily stole the 2020 Election right in front of the Republican Party. The Republicans need new and better leaders who are not totally blind to what is clearly going on all around them. Meanwhile, the U.S. continues to deteriorate before our very eyes ...........
I recall when Biden was first elected to the Senate. He was known from the outset as one of the most liberal of the new senators. Nothing has changed. These people don’t know history very well.
The writer is basically right. Joe didn’t have any deep convictions. Joe was what he had to be to get elected. Biden learned how to follow the party leaders when he was in the Senate. Now he follows the staffers who tell him what to do. It’s all part of the fight against the other side, so he doesn’t have to think about whether it’s right or wrong or whether he ought to do it.
Russiagate, though, was an article of faith. People who could see that there wasn’t any evidence deeply believed that they had to do. They were convinced that if they dug long enough they would find something, and convinced that they deserved to find something. Were they lying? I suppose so, but as Seinfeld said, is it a lie if you believe it?
Also, Joe’s picking Harris was what most candidates do. Nobody is thinking about who would make the best president. They are all thinking about who can help them to win. Biden also painted himself into a corner with his promises, but he wasn’t so different from other candidates.
One of my college profs asked “What do you call someone who tells the truth 90 percent of the time ...? A LIAR! And DON’T do business with him!”
That’s still true and I thought of that while reading about Biden.
