Mollie McGuire, was once a maiden, in a little coal town they called Forbaden. She worked at a shop, a mile down the road, from the house where lived Joe Baden.
The son of a miner and Joe did follow his father's footsteps into the hollow
into the earth below the mountain
My great-great grandfather was a mine boss in the coal fields of central Pennsylvania. He was married to an Irish woman, and out of respect for her, the Molly McGuires warned him to quit or be dead. He quit and lived, but his successor did not.
