A buddy of mine was just telling me about this.
His daughter and son in law went to the Yankees-Astros (go Astros) game and said the fans were booing and heckling Cruz for wearing an Astros jersey. The whole place was chanting ‘Let’s Go Brandon’, but that wasn’t reported.

That could be a double-edged triggering event. Obviously, Colt .45 refers to a pistol but isn't it also the name of the favored drink of the primary demographic group of the intercity? At least, it used to be. I'm sure the wokes would get agitated over that angle too.
