Exactly what I thought you’d say. You do realise Russia expanded in a similar way to the U.S. Just in the opposite direction. Think of Siberian peoples like you would plains Indians. You wouldn’t seriously suggest the Commanche or Sioux nations are not part of the U.S would you
False Flag prep. So everyone knows who to blame when Ukraine sets off a dirty bomb.
There are wars in Myanmar and Ethiopia, but I don’t see dozens of threads about them.
Time for a :)
What did Biden say when he was confronted by a zombie?
“Now, we have to understand that we are not at war with Zombiedom. Zombies are peaceful people. In fact the zombies who eat people don’t represent true Zombiedom. The’re just a bunch of thugsh who ... Aiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeee”
What did Marco Rubio say when he was confronted by a zombie?
“Don’t worry. We’re going to find a way to let you stay in this country and become a citizen just as soon as ... Aieeeeeeeeee.”
What did Rand Paul say when he was confronted by a zombie?
“I don’t see why the zombies are America’s problem ... Aieeeeeeee.”
What did Hillary Clinton say when she was confronted by a zombie?
Nothing. The zombie ran away screaming.
What did Vladimir Putin say when he was confronted by a zombie?
Nothing. Putin has people to deal with zombies.
George W. Bush didn't do too bad with "Pootie Poot" either, invited Vlad to his Texas ranch, and then he invaded Georgia in August 2008, and Bush did nothing other than say "We strongly condemn the bombing outside South Ossetia." George probably followed it up with a strongly worded letter. In March of 2012, Obama told Medvedev to tell Vlad that he'd be more flexible after he was re-elected. Russia then invaded Crimea in 2014, and Obama did nothing. The question I have is, if Putin has been intent on getting the Soviet Union back together, and he's consistently been the Russian President since 2012, why wasn't he more aggressive during those two administrations, especially since the U.S. was tied up militarily in two middle eastern countries...Iraq and Afghanistan? And why didn't he test Trump, a man who had never held political office before? Personally, as someone who was born in 1947, and grew up under the threat of nuclear war in the 50's and 60's, I don't believe Putin's goal is getting the U.S.S.R. back together. I think you're off on that point.
You misspelled "reach around", Cold Heart...
Russia doesn't need explosives to spread nuclear material around the world. They've done it consistently since they began building and running nuclear plants, and I'm not just talking about Chernobyl.
Chlelyabinsk in 1957
Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant in 1975
Balakovo Nuclear Power Plant in 1985
Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in 1986
Tomsk-7 Nuclear Complex in 1993
Kursk Nuclear Submarine Accident in 2000.
These are the ones we know about. There could be more that have never come to light.
Add to your list the Mayak nuclear weapons plant that had a disaster in 2017 and has been inactive ever since.
Thanks MeganC!!
You are most welcome!
Putin’s April, 2005 state of the nation address:
“Above all, we should acknowledge that the collapse of the Soviet Union was the major geopolitical catastrophe of the century. As for the Russian nation, it became a genuine drama. Tens of millions of our co-citizens and co-patriots found themselves outside Russian territory. Moreover, the epidemic of disintegration infected Russia itself.”
I don’t see anywhere in his statement that he called for the reunification of the USSR.
Most fascinating thing about the Ukraine war is the sheer number of top strategic thinkers who warned for years that it was coming if we continued down the same path.
No-one listened to them and here we are.
Small compilation thread of these warnings, from Kissinger to Mearsheimer.

(It’s really not so small. He got lots of suggestions for additional items when he added to the thread.)
Wallace rushed to the U.S. for emergency talks (Defence Secretary Ben Wallace on emergency trip to US amid Ukraine security concerns and nuclear threat)
After which our Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin calls Shoigu (Russia) and Shoigu also speaks to Macron (France,) Wallace, (UK) Erdogan (Turkey) telling all of them...
“Moscow seems convinced that Kiev will certainly try to organize a provocation with the use of a “dirty bomb”. This was the reason for the telephone conversations.
The Washington Post writes: “Shoigu, in a conversation with Wallace, stated that Ukraine planned this provocation with the assistance of Western countries, including the UK. Wallace denied these allegations and warned that they should not be used as a pretext for more escalation.”
The Ministry of the Armed Forces of France reported that Shoigu warned his colleague Sebastian Lecorna about the rapid deterioration of the situation in Ukraine, as well as that the situation is trending towards an uncontrolled escalation.”
In general, the flames of the Ukrainian conflict are flaring up more and more, threatening to hurt Europe as well. That’s why today we heard words from London that no one expected (offer to mediate between Russia and Ukraine). It seems that something is brewing that makes politicians in the West fidgeting uneasily in their chairs.
@usaperiodical”
As I stated in my original post Ukraine’s Telegram channel Resident (with an insider in the OP) has made multiple posts over the last couple months about Zelensky’s effort to procure a “dirty bomb.”
It is so interesting that Shoigu outed UK’s Wallace directly and even more interesting that Wallace responded by offering to assist negotiations for a peace agreement.
“The British Defense Ministry surprised with its statement that it is ready to assist Ukraine and Russia in the negotiations for a peace agreement.”
I had read earlier from a different Telegram source that it was the Biden administration that told Truss to stop talking to Zelensky about getting nukes and so she did. I would love to have been “a fly on the wall” during the Wallace talks with the White House, the Pentagon and the CIA (he made the rounds.)
Zelensky better be careful; his reckless behavior could have negative effect on his life expectancy. It is clear the Biden administration is not on board for Zelensky’s nuke agenda.
Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
