“why would god help?”

WHY?

All people sin. Therefore all nations also are sinful. We all are in need of a Savior.

“You know nothing at all, nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation should perish.” (John 11:49-50) The death of Christ on the Cross becomes the Savior for the sin burden of the whole world.”

We cannot expect the world to operate in any other way other than that which it presently does. They have made a god made in their own image and after their own likeness and i magination and are held captive by the god of this world. (2 Tim 2:26).

Just ran across this story. I wonder which side mentioned it first.

“Russia’s Sergei Shoigu says Ukraine could use ‘dirty bomb’ in conflict”

The only one pushing the use of nukes is Putin. Stop fapping to memes and deal with reality

"This is kind of like you know your in trouble when the democrats and republicans reach across the aisle in consensus."

I've always said that when both sides work together, it always ends up costing us taxpayers more money. And when Republicans worked with Democrats on January 6th, they became complicit in everything that has happened since then.

This story is beyond idiotic.

If Putin wanted to he could have carpet bombed Ukraine into the store age with conventional weapons long ago.

He is evil, but not stupid, and understands that the "Special Military Action" must be able withstand intense international scrutiny and as well as military resistance.

Old or out of date nuclear weapons may not necessarily detonate but they’re explosives can spread the nuclear material around which would in fact be a dirty bomb. Russia probably has a few thousand such devices.

Dozens. Russia occupies Karelia, most Finno-Ugrian peoples, Volga Tatarstan, Siberia, Circassia, Chechnya, Northern Mongolia, And that's not counting occupation of Crimea and the Donbas.

“All you have is name calling.”

Yes, it become tedious when labeling and name-calling becomes the standard for some posters that consider themselves witty. Regretfully, functioning at this level in any conversation limits the content of the opposition to the issue posted.

Actually, his is very sad because all the facts & illustrations presented support one side leaving oppositional position without credibility. The loss is felt by all: not by name-calling but by the emptiness of the counter-position.

Putin never had the ability to carpet bomb Ukraine. The Russian airforce never took out Ukranian air defences and Russia still has to protect its actual borders.

You come across as unhinged. Declaring Russia is not a nation state is absurd as declaring the U.S or Canada or Brazil and so on are not nation states. I presume your falacious nonsense is based on the idea that Chechnya etc are independent nations occupied by Russian colonialists

Which brings us back to Ukraine. There is serious concern that the West is once again trying to concoct a false flag that can be used to rally a reluctant public to go to war with Russia. Instead of chemical weapons, the current scheme reportedly involves detonating a dirty nuke in territory ostensibly under the control of Russia. The Ukrainian military is suffering catastrophic casualties and, western propaganda notwithstanding, will have great difficulty sustaining any offensive. The United States and its NATO allies realize this and are searching for a pretext to send NATO forces to the rescue. It appears that the West is considering using the threat of defeating a nuclear attack as the justification for sending its own forces into the Ukrainian maelstrom.

I think the Ukraine situation is far more dangerous than what transpired in Syria. Russia’s national security is at stake and the West is panicked at the prospect of Ukraine being beaten into submission. At least Russia is doing the right thing–moving preemptively to warn relevant countries that it knows what is being plotted and that it will take appropriate actions to counter such an attack if it occurs. We are sitting on a nuclear powder keg. Pray that cooler heads prevail.

Can the two groups of same people who post the same insults and pictures at each other several times a day do me a favor?

When you both get your way and we’re all wiped off the planet, please take a moment before FR goes offline forever to post one final barb at the other team about how this is All Their Fault.

Well they could detonate a dirty nuke over Chernobyl and it wouldn’t make much of a difference there. So after sending tens of thousands of untrained, poorly equipped Ruskies to fight in Ukraine, Russia will now expose them to radiation from a dirty nuke? Putin constantly searches for a new low. After ordering Ivan to entrench around Chernobyl, who thought the Ruskies were capable of more nuclear stupidity?
