An 82-year-old Home Depot worker was pushed to the ground by a thief after he tried to stop him from stealing power tools in North Carolina.
The unidentified victim was working the outside station booth in what appears to be the garden area at a Hillsborough Home Depot on Tuesday when he noticed a man in a dark hoodie rolling a cart full of power tools.

The guy saw something sharp and not being level headed or someone who can square his actions, he decided to run a drill to plumb the depths of his depravity while drilling for gold.

I LOVED RIF as a kid. I read so many books, and RIF made sure I had them, when my parents couldn’t!
I am in my early 70s and work evenings in the wine and spirits department of a large grocery store. One evening I watched a shoplifter take a large grocery cart heaping full of mechandise out the side door. I alerted management, but no way would I have intervened.
In another store in our chain a manager confronted several young Black girls who he had observed filling their purses with cosmetics. They dumped their stolen goods on the floor and left, but threatened the manager saying their boyfriends would soon be there. The boyfriends arrived and physically assaulted the manager serious enough that he needed medical treatment. Our chain now has uniformed security guards with tactical protective vests, mace and handcuffs.
Trial within 24 hours. Guilty. Death penalty administered within he next 24 hours. As simple as a .22 behind the ear. No muss, no fuss. Justice delayed is justice denied. No repeat offenses, ever.
Home Depot should let their employees carry full semi-auto nail guns at all times.
