Bellevue High School has joined other programs that have also recently canceled their football seasons.
Last month, officials at Okemos High School in Michigan said they canceled their remaining games because of health concerns regarding players.
A school district in Nebraska also made a similar decision at Lincoln Northwest High School in September.

The Lincoln one isn’t similar—it is a new school in its first year. While designed ultimately for 1000 students, it has no grade 12, and between 10 and 11 only about 150 students. The freshman class is close to 250. It makes sense to run a JV program.
So maybe some HS coaches are asking each player to get an EKG and they’re coming back abnormal?
Or parents just saw Tua get wrecked and said “Nope!”
